systems engineer, 7+ years professional Go. no degree - production code is the credential. mostly blockchain projects, the highlights can be seen at https://git.smesh.lol

currently building moxie, a self-hosting compiler descended from TinyGo. no GC, deterministic scope-based memory management, CSP-pure concurrency from single threaded domains via kernel threads with duplex buffered channels for coordination between them. compiles to LLVM IR. https://git.smesh.lol/moxie

gnarl-hamadryad is a post-quantum cryptographic library built on Bethe lattice geometry, implementing a complete stack from hashing through signatures, key encapsulation, homomorphic encryption, multi-party computation, and searchable encryption - all with security reducible to the shortest vector problem (SVP/SIS) on ideal lattices. it uses two novel SWIFFT hash variants (Hamadryad over Z_257 with 448-bit output, Gnarl over Z_271 with three resolution tiers at 243/216/54 bits), Schnorr signatures on the non-split torus of SL(2, Z_P) with 216-bit keys and 432-bit signatures, Ring-LWE key encapsulation with CCA2 security, BGV homomorphic encryption supporting depth-1 multiplicative circuits, and an authenticated encryption wire format (GnarlWire) using ChaCha20 with GnarlMid MAC - the entire system designed so that breaking any component requires solving the same hard problem: finding short vectors in ideal lattices. https://git.smesh.lol/gnarl-hamadryad

also built and operate a Nostr relay and web app stack (smesh/orly) with NIP-42 AUTH enforcement and MLS encrypted messaging. browser-only, no npm, no bundler, multi-WebWorker architecture. https://smesh.lol (WIP, written using Moxie compiled to WASM). https://git.smesh.lol/smesh

built iskra, a lattice-based semantic engine using Bethe lattice/Cayley tree structure for translation and reasoning with continuous learning - not transformer-based, runs on modest hardware. already fairly reasonable quality japanese/english translation working. (also written in Moxie). https://git.smesh.lol/iskra

looking for: distributed systems, infrastructure, blockchain/protocol engineering, compiler tooling, or anything where Go and systems thinking intersect. remote strongly preferred. comfortable with ambiguity, solo ownership, and building from scratch.

https://git.smesh.lol for the code. https://git.smesh.lol/resume/raw/resume-2026.pdf for the resume.
